5 out of 5 stars Great Stuff!   March 23, 2008

Not only does this stuff work right after you have been exposed, but if you lather it up and leave it on the rash to dry, it drys up the rash. I always keep it on hand now...

5 out of 5 stars Always pleased with Burt's Bees....   September 24, 2007

Since there is no quick cure for poison ivy this soap is very soothing for the symptoms. I use it in combination with Technu and it's very effective in drying it out. The best treatment for poison ivy is keeping it clean and dry. Do not take hot showers and do not scratch, as these will make it spread worse.

5 out of 5 stars An Amazing Remedy for an Irritating Problem...   August 6, 2009

I contracted poison oak on a recent camping trip, and was having no luck with over the counter ointments and treatments. After giving a series of expensive options a try with limited results, I decided to purchase Burt's Bees Poison Ivy Soap to see if it would have any impact on the itching and burning that accompany Rhus-dermatitis. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. This soap significantly reduced the itching feeling, nearly to the point of elimination, and began to advance the drying/healing process of the sores after the first use. I have had poison ivy and oak several times, and this treatment ranks with some of the best treatments I have ever used; including those prescribed by a doctor. If you want to save some time, money, and do away with the itchy irritation give this soap a try. I promise you won't regret it.

5 out of 5 stars This is an amazing soap that really works   July 28, 2007

This soap works almost instantaneously to stop the itching of poison ivy and all of the other similar types of plants in that same family. I.E. poison oak, poison sumac, ect.

It has a wonderful smoky aroma that my children love. That really makes it easier for my to get them to use it.

5 out of 5 stars Best Poison Ivy Treatment Ever   July 11, 2009
C. Rhodes (Conneaut Lake, PA United States)
I recently had my first case of poison ivy ever (at age 65). I am not a candidate for any of the commonly prescribed treatments though my poison ivy was severe. After trial and error, I finally found relief with Burt's Bees soap and hot water. Using the soap as directed, washing with it then applying a second coat to be left on worked. I am very, very grateful to the manufacturer for the relief from the constant itching. This product works so well I ordered a case of it.
